ok back.

So here's the common but somewhat intriguishing story of ntype.

Well to start with I've been used to post on internet boards for quite a long time, not that I've really had any "homebase" (like IT) before.

Anyhow my story with you folks start around UJ, I don't myself remember exactly why I ever joined that place (I looked for my historical posts but looks like that I even didn't bothered to present myself there).

As a wild guess I would say that it was at 80% because I saw some address on some "hot chick" picture (no wasn't a "goddess" for sure) or maybe they were talking of it on some other forum I was going at that moment.

Anyhow so I start posting at UJ, alas UJ wasn't really the best place for me, I mean I got nothing against that board just that I never felt like I was fitting on there.

You see I live in Switzerland, and just to admit it, not so long time ago I didn't had much knowledge of the habits and culture in the US, only the basics (and mainly exagerated) things you could read on newspapers, movies, documentaries,...

I knew that people where looking basically for the same things as everywhere (love, money, respect, dunno whatever else) but how things were going out was like...well I really felt like I was looking at some "alien" (like ET calling house) board. Fuck it was incredibly strange, people over-reacting, almost never any consideration of the other's point of view (ok it's the same everywhere)...it was almost like a trenched war.

To be totally honest I am associating UJ with some kind of "guns, geezus, pro-military place, and porn (but chicks are considered like fucking tools and people working in the sex industry are evil because kids get shocked when they see a boob)".
I never really fitted there (I'm not a gun nut, geezus is nice but I am not feeling like he's ruling my life, and fuck the military), and the only times I got caught into some kind of "e-quarry" it was finishing like "shut up you m**** stranger of not being american dude I can't understand what you say but I'm sure that I hate you for no reason and shit" (cool I tell you).

I finally ended up doing photoshops of various things and getting the awareness that I wouldn't have any real exchange with people it was more like "ok I post shit, sometimes I got an answer like I like that and nothing more".

Well even I finally not going there anymore.

One evening after something like two months that I wasn't there anymore I am on the computar doing some order in my bookmarks. When I see the UJ bookmark...I seriously wanted to delete it without any second though but I hitted the wrong button...so finished loading it...website loads up...username/password totally forgotten.
I stayed something like one minute wondering if I had to delete it or request for the password, when I had some kind of calling like "hey let's check the pm's" (I never really received a lot of pm's there so honestly 99% chances that the box was empty).
Anyhow I check the pm box...see a strange post like

"hey dude, bla bla bla new forum bla bla check it out bla"
then the Insanetrain was written like that :

Me I was like "what the bloody hell is that ?" checked the board...registered for some reasons...and I'm here. A place that I honestly like, it's full of people having *interesting lifes* (see "nothing happens during the weekends" rants by some newbies). More than anything else the place felt like home quite fast...it was some kind of friendly place with a more "open minded spirit".

Seriously what I like here is the "open minded" feeling, ok we all have our fucktards moments but it is more an internet role than a way to act that you feel is quite closer to what the dude should think every day when he wakes up.

Btw looking for some kind of thread where I say hello but I don't find it either. I suppose that I never presented myself too here.

Is it ok for you ?

Where is the part that talks about how you feel bad because you have not sent your Santa gift?

I know what you're thinking now. You think we're all gay, don't you? Think we're all just a bunch of deviant lifestyle-living same-sex having motherfuckers, am I right?

I forgot to add that the "monkey" addiction started really here, I always refrained that before...nobody would really "get it".

when the n-meister arrived at UJ they treated him badly, i remember it
when he arrived at IT, we loved the things about him that they made fun of

when his title was "lost in translation" it was right on the mark

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.
