very well. When I do my neck hurts. It's not a new ache, I've had it for about a year.
Has anybody ever visited a chiropractor? I've never gone but I'm about ready to surrender. This neck thing sucks.

I've been about 20 times for a stiff neck. Definately worth it.

I went to a chiro for over a year...
I tore a muscle in my back doing hang cleans.. I haven't been back in at least 6 months and report no more troubles.

I've been to a chiropractor before for neck/back/shoulder stuff. I've always been pleased. I think if you've really got some serious injury they aren't a good choice, but to help the body reset itself from normal wear and tear; they seem to do a good job.
My complaint is that those bastards won't prescribe me any painkillers.

be really careful when it comes to those dudes working are your neck. there are tiny blood vessels in your neck that go directly to your brain. a friend of mine had his neck worked on, and the chiro manipulated his neck muscles, and in the process damaged a vein, causing a clot to go to his brain, and he had a minor stroke.
go for it.

I hate chiropractors.
I saw one once for a couple of weeks and all he ever did was make my problem worse. Now an ostiopath is a different story.

It's well worth the visit.....helps if they're cute and in shape too....find one that cares about you not your next appt. if they're good...you'll feel better and relief with your first adjustments...and the nice thing is you stop going when you feel better.....sometimes months...i only visit mine now as needed...after only going for 4-5months. Neck and mid back...minor lower back issues....it's awesome...go and enjoy...treat yourself to a massage also if it's offered...your worth it...
