When I see shit like that, I always think about how the guys built it. These things work when they are all put together, but as you are building them, they aren't quite so stable.

I've always found it fascinating how they can hold so much weight on those standalone columns like that.They just don't look porportionally able to hold en entire bridge full of moving vehicles.

it's in France, it's a viaduc who crosses a valley. Very very impressive thing, seen some reportage they made during the construction and stuff. (btw this pic is during construction)
