seriously.. get her a gift certificate to a spa.. My wife loves that shit. I usually get a decent one.. not the cheapest but not the most expensive.. it usually takes 4 hours or so.

more seriously one of my ex (loosy bitch that went away with a few of my dvd's), anyhow had good idea to make gifts.
Basically you buy a wicker basket, and stuff it with little things like beauty products, perfume, a cd or a dvd and so on. Interestingly cool (and in the whole not really expensive) and the wicker basket could be reused after that.
