So I have been stressed over a project at work the past couple of weeks. As a result I started taking my Xanax again to aleviate some of the anxiety. Normally I try to be very considerate of other at work. I have to see them everyday and would like to keep things relatively peaceful. That being said Xanax tends to take away some inhibitions and sometimes I just say whatever pops into my head.
So this fat bitch(400lbs+ here) I work with just comes over to my desk and starts freaking out. I honestly had no idea what she was talking about for the first 3 minutes of her rant. I didnt say a word back. I just sat there looking at her. In my head I am thinking, "Wow, she is really pissed about something. I wonder what it is?" Turns out I terminated a doctor she had personally added to the plan. Big fucking deal right? The asshole was in breach of his contract and refused to change it. Well apparently she thinks it is.
So as she winds down her tirade, she pauses as if waiting for me to respond. I still just sat there.
She says, "What, you got nothing to say about it."
I said, "Yeah, I guess I am speechless."
She chuckles and says, "Oh really."
I smile and say "Yeah, I think this is the first time I have seen you without food in your hand or in your mouth. I was just kinda shocked, before now I didnt know you could talk."
She turned around and walked away. I am anticipating a call from the boss momentarily. Should I lie about it or just blame it on the meds?
