Anyone else watching this tonight? I'm not sure who's up for what, or who's preforming. I know I want to see Kanye West though.

I agree, they do suck and never give credit where credit is due, but I still watch, for some reason. So far, the opening act sucked.

Vit E watched 'em last night.

RACK Melissa Etheridge's ass for havin the courage to come out without a wig or somethin' to hide her bald head. Sure she's a commie rug doctor, but that took guts! It sends the right message to folks fighting cancer!

Vit E applaudes Melissa E!

Only caught one part- the recognition of those lost in 2004.
Then Bonnie Raitt came out to finish a Ray Charles tune during his tribute.
That kicked ass.
Glad that was the only part I saw them considering you all said it was lame.

she always came with her mom

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

My take on the Grammy's.

The Lynard Skynard guitarist kind of sucked on the slide.
Dickie Betts sounded good on guitar.
The Tsunami tribute song sucked major shit and should be remade. If they stick with that one, they should play it over and over on the radio until they hit a certain number of dollars and then we don't have to listen to it anymore. Michael Jackson was probably laughing his ass off at the "We are the world wannabes".
JLo sounded like shit in that bedroom opera that she sang.
Mellissa Ethridge did good to come out like she did.
Ray Charles got a lot of awards that seemed like it might have had something to do with his recent death.
Jose Canseco is a nutcase (oh shit, that was 60 minutes).

Yeah, she has always been kind of funny in person. She says EXACTLY what is on her mind and always has. She has provided many embarassing moments on the Country Music shows and awards over the years. Everyone is always a little nervous when she gets in front of a microphone in a live setting.

Kudos to her for getting two Grammy's last night.
