VitE is a total fan of Sirius. I was on the fence until NFL signed on with Sirius. The NFL package is free with the subscription. NO add-on shit. You get all the games called by both teams home town announcers.

Sirius has a better music selection. XM has two top 40 stations compared to sirius' one. If your a big Britany, Justin, Jessica fan go with XM. Other than that Sirius has better music channels. Sirius also has deals with Maxim(spring) and Howard Stern(2006) if that's your bag.

PM me if you want to stream some of the music.

I would go with sirius. You can get a 3 day free trial at sirius.com to check it out.

XM has more subscribers (for now) while Sirius has better programing. If you even remotely want college football, NFL, or Howard Stern (soon), get Sirius. Most aftermarket headunits that support either XM (Alpine, Sony, Pioneer) or Sirius (Kenwood, Clarion, JVC) will now say "satellite radio ready" instead of "XM ready" or "Sirius ready" & will support either subscription service. Alpine is already doing this for the new products coming out in Janurary. Alpine also is starting to incorporate the tuner into the headunit so you only have to add any antenna.

I was told by my XM rep how to get XM for free though...I'm just to impatient to try it.

The Stern thing is cool.....I hear that it will be no extra charge...where Opie and Anthony is an extra charge on XM. I like that Sirius has NFL, NHL and NBA.....BUT XM has FOX Sports and the ESPN channels where Sirius only has ESPN...Does either of them have Jim Rome?

I've never heard Jim Rome on Sirius. In short I don't know. What TV station carries Jim Rome..isn't he on TNT?

No he's on ESPN at like 2:30am or some ungodly hour.....Rome is burning I think it's called.

I never said you were incapable of posting things other than smack. I have questioned your smack ability. Continuing to target me as the subject of all of your posts will result in continued badgering. Now, put on your stocking and make up - you should be headed for the street corner. Work Time!!

I just got XM radio. So far I love it. Every baseball game is pretty cool. I haven't listened to every station but it seems to have everything I like. Never looked at sirius though so I can't say which is better. I got the XM one cause one of my dealers sells them so I thought I'd support him.

I ended up with Sirius.....I'd never go without it again.....sirius has all the sports Except Nascar (next year) and Baseball (contract is up in 2006)......One thing I dont like Is it doesnt have a walkman type device....always has to be in the home, office or car.
