I really liked the Mad Seasons album. Not sure if many of you have checked that one out. It was sorta of a super band.. I know Layne Staley did most of the vocals and I really enjoyed it.
Another band I listen to regularly is Phunk Junkeez. They have several CD's out but Injected is one that I can listen to start to finish. They have what I would refer to as "slip-hop" sound. Kinda like Limp Bizkit minus the suck. well, not really like limp at all...
anyway what are some of your bands that no one has heard of?

Ben Harper- Funky acoustic kinda style. I love him.
Morphine- It's like jazz I guess. Lots of saxaphone. When I first heard them, I didn't like it, but they really grow on you.

Lots of people don't know Mos Def or Talib Kweli, and that's too bad if you're a fan of hip-hop. Pick up the Mos Def "Black on Both Sides" and Mos & Talib's "Blackstar" albums if you like that kind of music.
