Legalization of marijuana
#21

speaking of x:

was working in a hotel in miami beach
we received a package from holland, but the addressee was not registered
of course i took it home
it was a book, hollowed out and filled with about 1000 tabs of x

long story short, i never much cared for it before, but found it does have it's redeeming qualities

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

You's are abit behind the times .. Over here they dont only test your blood for alcohol they also test for drugs and yes you get either fined or lose your liciense if its caught in your system . I think it should be legalised but more so to stop these big drug barons killing our kids with the crap they put in things . People should be able to grow a couple of plants for personal use be it for pleasure or to cope with pain .

Have not fired the pipe in a while, but why not make it legal? Tabacco is the killer. Confusedmoke:

although I quit smoking it a few years ago, I say legalize it and tax the hell out of it. If you get caught with any pot without a taxed stamp on it, then have severe penalties in place. Understand this. If the government could tax pot they would. The revenue generated would pull this coutry out of it's welfare deficit in a few years easily. Not to mention the drastic reduction in costs from "the war on drugs". What a fucking waste of money. It's like we spend money on an alcoholic for room and board at the local liquor store. For all thos who would abuse pot( i.e. driving under the influence) instill the harshest penalties of jailtime. The crime rate would drop tremendously as well. Thus freeing up our law enforcement for other more important endeavours.

carmelo anthony got nabbed in the airport, very clever, and such a good explanation, but this sounds a lot like decriminalization

Associated Press

DENVER -- Carmelo Anthony was cited for marijuana possession while boarding the team plane last week, though the Denver Nuggets star says the bag was left in his backpack by a friend.

Anthony, 20, was issued a summons last Friday at Denver International Airport while the Nuggets were waiting to board a flight to Milwaukee for a preseason game. Anthony's attorney, Daniel Recht, said he wasn't aware the marijuana was there and that it was left there by an out-of-town friend who borrowed the backpack last week.

"The friend obviously uses marijuana and left a small amount in the backpack when he returned it to Carmelo," Recht said Thursday. "Carmelo had no idea there was any marijuana in the backpack."

Anthony was charged with possessing less than 1 ounce of marijuana, a petty offense with a maximum $100 fine and no jail time. He was in Los Angeles for a preseason game against the Clippers and not immediately available for comment.

Recht said he has met with a city attorney and requested the citation be dismissed. He also said the friend acknowledged the marijuana was his and would come forward to accept responsibility as early as Thursday.

Recht also said he received a letter from Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe verifying Anthony passed four random drug tests last season and another just two weeks ago. The letter also said tests from U.S. Olympic Committee at the Athens Games this summer came back negative.

"He was devastated to learn there was marijuana left in the backpack," Recht said.

if cigs are illigal, then so should alcohol...which would mean so should pot.

its a CHOICE if you wish to partake in any of the above. If you want to live a healthy and clean life, doing any of the above might not be a choice you should make.

IMO, we are a people today who are looking to push blame off on anybody else, not willing to live up to the choices we've made in our lives.

So when someone is going to jump off a bridge, do we just let them, or try to coax them down. It's their choice to die, but does their death improve society as a whole?

I voted no because I also believe cigs should be illegal. Alcohol is different because you can sit next to another person, and not have to enjoy that drink with them(like a cig or blunt).

Son, I am Disappoint.
