seriousness
#1

Today I'll show a little different side of me. Since some people think I cant take things seriously. Ill be starting threads on controversial topics or little brain teasers rather then the stupid dribble that I ususally post. So enjoy the more serious me.

pepsi, we didn't ask for the serious side, thats not what i proposed as a challenge. I asked that you be yourself, not your so called imaginary personality. with that said, i want you to totally be yourself, thats what the bet was, got it?

My serious side is a part of me. Majority of the times my friends and I open topics and discuss about them. For me I like seeing how people view things and whats going on through other peoples minds.

Some constructive criticism: If you want to start "serious" topics, you need to do two things.

1. Stay away from the cliches. Abortoin, Religion, Capital Punishment, etc.. Unless you're presenting a new angle on those things. Just saying "life after death?" isn't starting a serious discussion, its soliciting opinions.

2. Be prepared ask questions and make comments that will challenge other people's responses and make them go into more depth or question their own statement. Don't expect discussions to start themselves, they need a catalyst and if you're starting the thread then you have to be the catalyst.

Good luck.
