Our new coach here signed 4 early commitments.

Junior college players Odayne Clarke, Kadeem Coleby and Darnell Jackson, along with high school athlete Kentwan Smith will step on the court for the Cajuns next year.


Ever hear of any of these guys?

Bob Marlin.... He came from San Houston State... He reached the 20 win mark there 6 times and was the winningest coach in that conference all time. He brings a business like approach to games and demands good defense and great shooting.

Did you see the special on Duke and Coach K on ESPN. If not you need to find that and watch it. Absolutely great behind the scenes stuff.


We played Creighton last night on the road. We shot free throws terribly and lost by 5. I'm very excited about this coach and I think once he gets his players in we'll be a 20 win school year in and year out.

Hopefully your new coach doesnt get to 20 wins and use that as a springboard for greener pastures.

Thats the nature of the beast. He stayed 12 years at Sam Houston going 225-130. We have great facilities here. If he goes to greener pastures.. that means we've been winning which is great.


The duke thing is 4 30 minute behind the scenes footage. Coach K being his vintage great self. I know some people will hate it. I can only imagine the kids that watched that and said Fuck yea i'm going to duke....
