as far as i can tell, you are the same idiot as always

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

Its funny how if you were picking a team and lined both teams up against the wall right now, probably the only player you would pick from LA would be kobe. I couldn't believe he got so tired so fast last night. His age must really be showing.

Kobe had a great game last night.Something like 14 pts in less then ten minutes in the third.I think its more the Celts doubling and tripling him and him not having a go to guy who can hit a J when they are left wide open. The difference to me has been the two teams benches. The Celts are getting solid contributions from their and guys like Sasha vulichich and Farmar are not really bringing anything the Celts need to be worried about.

Also why does Ron Artest just hang out at the three point line?thats killing the lakers because he doesnt get the ball and he's out of position on the rebounds. He's not that good of a three shooter anyway.

I was wondering the same thing about Artest. He just stands in the corner on the 3 point line and waits. Every time he gets a pass he's in the same spot.

and I don't get the significance of "we just need minutes" of bynum on the court. the dude is obviously not able to get much done. Just because he's tall and heavy doesn't mean he is going to win a championship for you just by standing under the goal. He can hardly even jump.

You can say what you want about the Celtics and their players, but that Rondo dude his having a fantastic series. Some of that shit he did last night was insane. Granted he made some stupid passes and caused a lot of turnovers, but I think in the end, you give him those just for the other ones that he got that were amazing. There were a few times that his crazy fakes even faked out his own teammates.

And of course Pierce had his best game of the series and Garnett played ok. And I really like that little guy that comes in and relieves Rondo. That guy keeps the game moving fast as shit and he makes good decisions. I still find it crazy to think the Celtics could win this thing, but if they just manage to have everyone show up and get in rhythm at the same time, then it could easily happen. You can bet your ass they will be studying the film of the Lakers huddle talking about how the Celtics are the best in the league at losing a game in the 4th quarter.

oh, and fuck the announcers last night for not being able to see on the slow motion cam from the front of the goal that the ball did hit the goal and was a good call.

kobe was crazy in the 3rd. He was knocking down everything. That was crazy. Actually I think he got 19 in about 8 minutes. He ended the 3rd on the bench with his tongue hanging out.

Odom has been a joke.He shows flashes of knowing what to do but then hides for the rest of the game.

Artest and Odom need to put their brains together to equal one normal human.Artest is one of the best rebounders in the league and he's playing the third guard on offense.

Bynum is limited. Its a shame because he was playing really well up to this point. He's still all they got on the inside to help Gasol.

Rondo's being playing great. The lakers especially with Bynum can't get back fast enough. He creates open guys to pass to.I think speed has been a big advantage nobody thought about this series. When the Celts have Nate Robinson or rondo on the floor they are easily the faster team.

Pierce is the key. He's the guy who matches Kobe.If you match Kobe the Lakers have nobody else to carry them and that includes Gasol.

I've had a few guys argue with me that Gasol is the best big man in the league now.I guess he is but I think that speaks to the lack of good bigs.Tim Duncan on the lakers in his prime would have swept the Celts.I think Gasol is good no doubt but what did he do by himself in memphis but lose 50 games a year?

I guess if the Celtics were to win the next game that Pierce would be the MVP? I mean he seems to get all of the attention. But right now it would be hard to pass up Rondo for that. Actually, the way the Celtics are playing its hard to single out an MVP.
