They have to move.Where was their AD in all of this? The reports I've seen has her begging schools not to leave their conference. What kind of top notch school resorts to begging?Thats what happens when you have a broad as your athletic director.

Texas in the Rose Bowl every year will be odd at first.

Notre Dame is still the yankees of college football. They totally called the Big Easts bluff.Oh you are going to drop us if we don't play football in your conference?Oh no!

KU, KSU, Mizzou, and ISU will be left to pick up the Big 12 pieces possibly. I'm done worrying about it.

Its kind of weird how fast this all took place.

The way I hear it, 2010 will stay the same for the Big 12. But then Nebraska goes to the Big 10.

And I hear that Texas A&M, Texas, Texas Tech, Okahoma, Colorado and Ok State will go to the Pac 10 and create the Pac 16, the first Super Conference (they are saying).

So that leaves Baylor, Col St, Kansas, K State and Missouri out. If Col State, Kansas, K State and Missouri go to another conference, then Baylor gets totally fucked.

I was kind of hoping the Big 12 would just stay the same, kick out Nebraska and put in TCU. I guess the problem is the travel distance with no northern team to replace Nebraska.

I'm guessing this was on purpose? Col. St. isn't part of the Big 12 assfuck. Iowa State is.

I've now heard the SEC sent an invite to A&M and Virg. Tech.

This is the same kind of bullshit rumors that were flying around when the Southwest Conference was falling apart. I can't even imagine a scenario where Texas and Texas A&M weren't in the same conference. I guess it could happen. Its all about $$$.

they are both headed to the new pac 16 superconference
dincha hear??

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

It is crazy but it also goes to show that football is king. Football funds the athletic department.
