the fun never ends for you, does it?

Sure doesn't! It's been 6 months since my last one so we'll see how this one goes.

You've had cancer?

No, a blood disorder/bone marrow disease. Diagnosed at age 3, went into remission at age 12, came back at age 25 and I'm now 27 and still trying to kick it's ass. lol

Thanks. I'm a tough cookie. It doesn't really bother me anymore.

Good luck? I'll make sure to wish you Happy Biopsy/Aspiration Day!

I appreciate that. I'm usually down for the count for the rest of the day and a little slow moving the next day or two. After that, I'm usually okay though. It's funny. My hematologist (and my mother and boyfriend) get soooo mad at me because I won't let anyone drive me.

Sounds perfectly safe to me. Say hi to Pepsi!

I'm not doped up or anything while I'm driving. It's not like they put you to sleep when they do the procedure. They just put some lidocaine on the skin and drill, drill, drill away.

Sounds like date night in the Leu Household.

I wish I was talking about that kind of drilling, but alas, I'm not. I'm talking about the kind where they stick giant needles into your hip bone, or thigh, or vertebra, or sternum and suck out a little piece of bone etc. You know, the "not so fun" drilling.

Holy shit. You put it like that and it doesn't sound fun at all.

They call it the most painful medical procedure around. lol It hurts, but it's bearable. Just takes a lot of pain meds once you get home (which doesn't really help with pain, but it does help with sleep.)

good luck with this, bam
i hope this is the last time they have to do this

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

Thanks Snarg. Me too. I'm hoping my CBC comes back good and they decide to not do the procedure. I don't think I'm that lucky though. Or if they definitely do end up doing it (which they will), hopefully it'll give me better news this time. lol

Shitty deal ma'am. Hope they give you some good pain killers and you've got someone to take care of you while you coalesce.
