I'm not sure why you think the Sixers will be better than the Celtics any time soon.

In what season will the Sixers finish with a better record than the Celtics? In what season will they be an actual championship contender?

2 years they will be a contender in the East.LeBron will be rebuilding with the Knicks and the Magic will be the best team.Celts are aging and I'm not sure they can beat the Magic(if Nelson is back) let alone the Cav's this year. They are a great team now but all things come to an end.Sixers have a core of young guys playing a style nobody else plays or likes to play against in the east. This is all predicated on them moving Brand.Last night was a glimpse of how the Sixers will play the Celts from now on and the only reason they lost was because of inexperience.

Name a team with three better guys under 25 then Lou Williams, Maurice Speights and Thaddeus Young.

The only reason they almost won was because KG wasn't playing.

Those guys are all nice players, but which one of them is going to be THE guy on a contender?

The only team that could (and probably will?) beat the Celtics this year is the Cavs, but only if they're healthy. Maybe the Lakers depending on what happens with Bynum. The Magic are completely outmatched.

Thaddeus Young or Lou Williams.

Have you watched a Magic game all year?

Rashard Lewis - Paul Pierce

KG - Josh Howard

Ray Allen - Turkgalo

Rondo - Nelson

They are going to be the team to beat in the east after this year.

Have you seen Orlando play Boston this year?

107-88 Celtics, in Boston on 12/1. (Howard: 14pts)
90-80 Celtics, in Orlando on 1/22. (Howard: 11pts, fouled out)

they've been completely dominated. the Magic are a good team, but they're not great and they won't beat the Celtics in the playoffs.

They won't play each other unless its the eastern conference finals. With Nelson out it screws up everything.Hopefully Boston doesnt get matched up against the Hawks.

LeBron is on a mission so it will be tough to get by them.

Personally I say it will be between 5 teams:

Boston
Cleveland
Lakers
Spurs
Rockets

Lakers won't make the finals unless Bynum comes back. Houston will be the wild card.

They made the finals last year without Bynum.

Houston sucks.Mcgrady is exposed as a loser.

Spurs are the only team out west the Lakers have to worry about.

People don't realize it yet but the NBA hasnt been in a better place since Bird and Magic.Even the Jordan years don't stack up to having guys as good as Kobe and Lebron at their peak.

Ha!

Someone said the other day I haven't watched the NBA since Bird and Magic retired... I said you realize the NBA is better now than its ever been? Chris Paul is the best PG in the league. Kobe and Lebron are two of the greatest players to ever play in this league. If you won't watch basketball now you will never get back into it. Its amazing what those 3 guys can do on any given night.

Really? The Rockets without McGrady?

The Rockets have as much chance of winning it all as the Magic do.Kobe had the flu last night.
