Eagles are going to the Super Bowl.Fucking crazy. He'll never admit it but the Mcnabb benching against the Ravens was the best thing that could ever happen to him.Got him focused. When you look back at that Ravens game it seemed so bad at the time because nobody knew how good the Ravens actually were. Now it looks like an acceptable loss on the road.I don't see how they don't get to Warner since they have a good secondary.
Giants needed Burris yesterday.Him not being there allowed them to not double team any receivers and contain the Giants running game.Manning was hoping and praying anytime he threw the ball in the second half. There was no urgency on the Giants side probably because they won it last year.
Reid by the fans bitching was forced to run the ball which opened it up for their recievers and its one of the few cases I can remember where the fan base had a positive impact on the game plan of their team.Philly fans deserve credit for getting this far.We are the best fans in the league.
This is Philadelphia's year in sports. We deserve it.

Yea that was totally my fault, snarg jr.Its not a tenth as embarrassing as blowing a perfect season.
Mcnabbs not a big game quarterback. He proved it yesterday. He had two minutes at the end of the game to change that and didnt.Defensively they got away from the coverage scheme they used the first time to beat them and tried to blitz way to much.
Overall this was a step forward for the rest of the team like DeSean Jackson and some of the guys on the D line and linebackers. This team was terrible in week 6.
Problems are they will use getting this far as an excuse to not make to many changes like another decent receiver or a power back.
Mcnabb will be reuped and he deserves it for his 10 years of service and I don't see much of an alternative.
I laid money on the Cards with 3 people at the bar I watched it at.I didnt have a good feeling going in.Dick Vitale picked the cards the day before and for some reason that made me nervous.

Was talking to a buddy in Utah and he said behind the Chiefs and the Cowboys the Steelers are the next popular team.Probably because of all the winning they did back in the 70's.The games got no juice for any of the major markets and will probably be down 25% in viewers from last year.
Lines giving 6.5 to the Cards and I'd imagine people will be jumping all over the Steelers.I'm not sure yet which way I'm going. The Steelers obviously have the better D but Phoenix has some monsters at wide out.

yeah they're going to try and hype up the popular team vs the true underdog thing.
I find steelers games to be incredibly boring, and I think it would be a tragedy if Ben's name starts getting thrown in with other "all-time great QBs" because his defense wins him a second title.

He's a game manager.I think he's a decent QB but the D has carried them this far but their style never was flashy on offense. He made some big throws yesterday.

How about Gruden? That was kind of shocking until you look at they havent won a playoff game since they won the superbowl.I see him getting another gig before the offseason begins.I still see Dallas making a move with maybe Gruden or Shanahan.
I didnt get why the giants guy took the Rams job. With all the openings why the Rams?I would have taken the Cleveland or Jets job before that one.
Buddy Ryans kid is supposedly getting the Jets job.I hope he's as colorful as his father. If so they will love him in New York.

with all the people the Pats have lost in the front office and in major coaching roles, I've heard they may try and make an outside run at Shanahan or have Crennel come back.
with Pioli running the Chiefs now, it's only a matter of time before Herm Edwards is canned, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Gruden end up there. that's going to be a good football team very soon.
