This kid is gonna be special. Local paper has been following him since the 7th grade. I'd be surprised if Self doesn't get this kid.

Wichita Heights freshman Perry Ellis was offered a basketball scholarship by Kansas last month, his high school coach said. "Things are changing," Heights coach Joe Auer said. "Young players are having these things put before them like never before." Kansas is just one of the teams reportedly recruiting Ellis. Kansas State, North Carolina, Memphis and Indiana are among the many attempting to lure him. n five games this season for Heights, the 6-foot-8 Ellis has averaged 17 points and 15 rebounds. After wowing recruiters with his size and athleticism, Ellis attended several invitation-only camps last summer, and Internet recruiting sites list him among the nation's top recruits in the class of 2012.

If I was covering him I'd foul the shit out of him.He's bigger than most college power forwards and he's got 16 and 17 year olds covering him.

My brother in law played against Joe Smith in HS and basically watched as he poured in points while he could do nothing about it.

Duke manhandled G-town on saturday.The Hoyas are too young to be a serious threat to anyone.They might win some big games but down the stretch they will struggle with having freshman at center and point guard.


Wake should be #1 and Duke #2 simply because they are undefeated in the same conference.The ACC is easily the best conference this year.A lot of people say the Big East because of all the teams they have in the top 25 but none of those teams could beat the top 3 in the ACC.There are a lot of overrated teams in the Big East like Syracuse.
