Detroit Bad Boys Homage

One great play = retired jersey?

Przybilla should ask the TrailBlazers to trade him to Boston.

On the Celtics' all time list, Havlicek is ranked #1 in games, minutes, points, FGA, FGM, FTA, FTM, and is 2nd in assists.

I hear you, and your point is valid.

I still like to see a short list of retired jerseys.

Like UTAH

7 PETE MARAVICH
35 DARRELL GRIFFITH
53 MARK EATON
14 JEFF HORNACEK

Vit E's basketball knowledge is limited to 1990 on.Havlicek is one of the great NBA players of all time.Maybe the celtics 16 championships compared to the pistons 3 are the reason the celts have more jerseys retired.

Where did I bag on Havlicek? I just said he's not a household name (ie Dr J, Bill Walton, Magic Johnson)

The Celtic were a dynasty, when did I claimed they weren't?

I know I hated seeing every NBA final being Lakers vs Celtics.

As for 1990 on.....That's the last year the Bad Boy era Pistons won the championship.

I did not realize this.

I can't help but notice there's a celtic thread on the front page and you keep rambling about Havlicek and Bird in my Pistons thread.

There's an Auerbach road in Roseville Minnesota. It's a couple streets over from a buddy's place. We were out shooting hoops in the drive way when a neighbor stopped by...Hey I'm Kevin, I live in the Red house on Auerbach road!

I said, Dude, that's awesome! Did you paint it red?

Kevin: she always wanted a red house.

Vit E: Is that why you chose to live on Auerbach road?

Kevin: We were looking for a bigger house closer to the school

Vit E: Red......Auerbach! That's awesome!

Kevin: I don't get it.

Vit E: *Speachless*

Auerbach St

...and Google mispelled it on the map. If you change the location to Auerback in the search it'll ask if you meant Auerbach.
