A few years ago Alabama was preseason #1 and didn't even finish in the top 25. That was supposed to be their big comeback year.


Notre Dame wouldn't have near the number of bowl appearances they have over the last 10 years if they weren't grandaddied into a special bowl clause with the BCS. They're the only team in the nation that can get a major bowl with a 9-3 record. I consider that cheating.
