Broncos receiver Ashley Lelie remains a hot topic in training camps other than Dove Valley.
The Philadelphia Eagles favor Lelie over the Raiders' Jerry Porter in the event they choose to fill a receiving vacancy.
The Broncos reportedly have discussed an offer of Bears' running back Thomas Jones for Lelie. The Bears say no deal for Jones is in the works with the Broncos or other NFL teams.

I just landed brown for $28 in an auction league.

Darrell Jackson went for $131
Javon Walker went for $126
Derrick Mason went for $81

Javon Walker is going to end up being a bust in Denver.

I know what you're thinking now. You think we're all gay, don't you? Think we're all just a bunch of deviant lifestyle-living same-sex having motherfuckers, am I right?

You will be lucky if that one season wonder makes it out of camp in one piece.

Note to Sandog;

Training Camps aren't what they used to be. Players no longer are subject to massive loads of work. Shanahan is very easy on his players during preseason. Camp is used for fine tuning and finding your 53.

I'll head up to camp in the next couple of days and let you know how he looks in drills. They say he's about 90% right now.

Let me know what they say. Also, if you could ask Jake Plummer is plans on choking in the clutch next year, I would like to know in advance.

That wasn't just him. The defense got burned, the coaching was terrible, and the whole team pretty much packed it in early.

Here is today's update.

Fieldwork

It was crunch time, and the crunching lasted forever. The Broncos went through their longest and most physical workout this morning among their first seven practice sessions. It was an intense two hour, 35-minute workout in full pads for the first time in this camp. The Broncos special teams practiced this afternoon. More long morning workouts are scheduled for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
Several pass plays highlighted this morning's workout. New receiver Javon Walker was spectacular and showed no signs of the torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered last September while playing for the Green Bay Packers. Fellow starting receiver Rod Smith also looked crisp and both meshed well with starting quarterback Jake Plummer, who is quietly having a strong camp.

Keep in mind $28 is a steal for any WR. If brown gets 500 yds I am gold with that pick.

Isaac Bruce went for $26
Terry Glenn went for $72
Eddie Kennison went for $46
Antonio Bryant went for $20
Keenan Mccardell went for $58

WRs are hard to come by..

Pinkston is done. His achilles are still hurting.
Reggie Brown and Gaffney will be the starting wrs.
I hope the kid from Michigan can come through.

Pinkston never should have been in the league.Reid will stick with guys just so he doesnt have to admit his draft pick was a mistake.Look at Corell Buckhalter.4th year in the league and he hasnt played a down in two years but he's still our primary backup to westbrook?
