Wow--so fast to hit the top.

Taylor Hicks kicked Shakira right out of the number one hit spot. Hicks first week sales for his single made a shit load of money and sold 190,000 hard copy and 38,000 digital sales.

Soul-man Taylor is #1 on the "Billboard Hot 100" chart, the "Billboard Pop 100" chart, and the "Billboard Single Sales" chart.
