My Nikes
never squeak on the basketball court
You can try to fill my shoes but your feet are too short
They always feel comfy when they’re snuggling my toes
I wear my Nikes every day - with or without clothes

I’m winning rap battles, every time I got-‘em-on
Take those Adidas off your feet before you get ‘em trodden-on
My Nikes are a pair, which ones best - they look alike
I like you Mr Left but I’ve found Mr Right

The treads never dirty, and the leathers always white
Me and my Nikes like to keep our laces tight
I glance down at my shoes when I’m at a rap recital
Insert the tongue up any bum who wants to fag it up like Tribal

There’s other sneakers on my rack, but this pair fills the quota
I only part with my Nikes when I start to smell an odour
I tried some ‘runners’ once, they ran too fast – I took ‘em back
So I swapped ‘em for some ‘joggers’ - they jogged too slow and I got fat

Nothing comes between us, except for sticky bubble-gum
That’s when I dump a single Nike and go buy another-one
