I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk. A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind. A need to return to genuine practice, right effort. Need to push on the great doubt. Need for the spirit. Hang on to the clear light.

the "artist" has been riding the short bus his entire life
he doesn't care about the prices on his art as long as he has enuf $$$ to buy his cigs and diet coke

a couple of dealers are involved
they have supported him for a long time
now he is getting known, the family is trying to cut them out
he has a bigshow in ny, when the times ran a feature about him, all the art he had for sale on the web sold out immediately

he will not mature
he has severe mental problems
it is all a function of some "art critics" saying his work is top-notch
i agree, it is childish
i have known ten yr olds who could match his "art"
but because people are willing to pay for it, it has value
