How younge is to younge to go to the movies?
#1

First let me say that I'm one of those parents that will punish themselves to make a point to their kid. I won't eat out at a resturante if my kids are behaving like little bastards. I feel it's not fair to the other people. They didn't come to the public place to endure your kid!....

With that said, I saw this trailer for this new annimated flick "cars"...I'm dieing to take the kid when it comes out. expecially since I haven't seen a movie in the theather for a couple of kids....My girls would have no interest. He I think would be captivated enough to chill and be relativly silent....

So how younge is too younge to toat a kid to the movies?

if you can sit at home and watch one from beginning to end, you'll be cool. i'm taking the nephews to see that flick, looks hilarious.

I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours

If you put me on Ignore will that mean I can't see your threads? If so IN.

I am the same as you Bill. I will leave if I find that my kids behavior is disturbing others.
That being said, my son could get about 1/2 through when he was 2. By 3 he could sit through a whole movie (1.5 hours or so), with little problem.
I always bring his older cousins who he worships and they actually do a great job keeping him in line.
But don't shush him. Don't ever shush him. If you do, he will yell "DON'T SHUSH ME!" No amount of punishment yet has stopped this one. It is hilarious though.

I know what you're thinking now. You think we're all gay, don't you? Think we're all just a bunch of deviant lifestyle-living same-sex having motherfuckers, am I right?

I am the same way...However with that being said on an afternoon (11am till 3pm ish) would be fine....evening movies I would see as a problem.....Here's another example...when my kids were young, I only took them to resturants before 4pm....i figured after that people were trying to have a nice dinner. Before 4pm tho.....fuck them everybody is entitled to the same resturant.

It's not the age of going to the cinema, it's the content you're taking them to see. I presume Cars is child friendly and contains no penis references, so you'll be fine.
