No, no, Skulkie, you never did and I'm not accusing you. We're cool! I'm only asking you because the UJ mods are in league. They stay tight and won't cross one another. It's prolly a good policy on a board of that size.

And I'm asking "why?" What good sense does it make to remove threads started at 4:45 a.m. by a regular user who can help move the board? I called out nobody. I insulted nobody. I did nothing wrong.

Ah well, it's something to do with content vs. drama. Smaller boards live off drama, because they generally have no content. UJ is meant to be more about content and less about drama, it's just a different paradigm. Sometimes, drama and content are equivalent and sometimes they are mutally exclusive, and the distinction is definitely subjective.

Got it. You point would definitely be valid if only the name of the board weren't USELESSJUNK.com. I mean USELESS? That's the part I can't wrap my arms around. Pictures of tubgirl--threads of Post A Funny Picture abound.

I'm a useless poster--I belong there. But "content?" What content of any value can be found there? It's not http://www.rocketscience.com. It's not Mensa.com.

Really, I'm not trying to start any fight, least of all with you, the mod I respect the most and whose friendship I value.

Meh, you're right, you won't get much argument from me, because in general terms I agree with you. On the other hand, imagine if all the active posters started posting "Goodnight" threads or whatever. A bit like CF or WTF. What with that just being incredibly dull especially for people from other timezones, I can understand why they're removed.

It's not up to me to set UJ policy. I just kill spammers.

It's the heavy hand on the ban/delete posts and threads that grinds me. Kaya said today in a thread that UJ mods "DON'T DELETE POSTS" but they do! Oob deleted a post from a guy in the goddess thread today that was offensive.

I'm not saying that post shouldn't have been removed, maybe it should have. But it WAS deleted. There is even a message replacing the post "Deleted by Oob for offensive material" or something like that.

Also, shouldn't some regard be given to Who is posting the thread? I mean, am I a noob?

Skulker, you're not responsible for all of that, no worries. It just feels good to get it out here. Keep killing the spammers.
