What's your favorite candy?

I hate having all this candy. All I hear from the min. my little girl wakes up is "I want some candy! I want candy!". That and I'm tempted to eat it all.

PH, you need the Halloween Fairy to do a fly by.

Tell your daughter that tonight the Halloween Fairy will come and take all but a couple of her favorite pieces and deliver it to hungry children. BUT she will leave a wonderful gift in its place.

You go buy a Barbie doll or little outfit, something she'll like, and leave it in place of the candy.

Yeah Mother Goose, lying to your child is a great idea.

I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours

Says the dude without kids.

I know what you're thinking now. You think we're all gay, don't you? Think we're all just a bunch of deviant lifestyle-living same-sex having motherfuckers, am I right?

Halloween Fairy? That's something I've never heard of before. . . . .what if your kid goes off and starts talking about the Halloween Fairy to her friends and they don't have a clue what she's talking about and she looks like an idiot. That's no good.

I demand the world but offer nothing in return.

what's your point? do you lie to your kid about stupid shit just so they don't throw a fit when you try and teach about self control and listening to authority?

Not that I'm speaking of PH's little girl, but those are the same kids that throw temper tantrums in Wal-Mart because their parents won't buy them what they want.

Thanks. It works great and by the time the kids get old enough to figure out the truth, they don't care and start leaving lists of what they want, lol.

But now I'm sad that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy will never visit Clay's house so that his future children can know those joys.

My parents never put that shit it my head. I still got "Santa" presents, Easter Candy, and $5 when I lost a tooth, they just didn't lie and said some make believe tool is leaving me shit. I'd rather take joy in making my kids happy than pawning off the credit to something that isn't real.

Clay, you can raise your future kids any way you'd like. They'll be YOUR kids. However, it's good to learn a few tips from someone who's had success at the job.

Everybody has their own beliefs and raises their children differently. I say go with what you believe than trying to listen to somebody elses advice. Or go with how you were raised, if that's what you like.

I am saying that until you have kids, it is easy to criticize how others raise them. If I lie to my kid or not is irrelevant.

its easy to critcize parenting skills of todays parents when kids throw temper tantrums in public, curse and chew out their parents, misbehave in school, and still get whatever the fuck they want just so the parents can shut them up. that shit don't fly with me, they'll grow up and live at home until they're 25 because right and wrong, respect your elders, and no mean no wasn't drilled into their heads. i won't criticize a persons parenting skills to their face, its not my place, but i sure as fuck won't hear them out when they bitch about what brats their kids are.

I didnt get any candy for my little girl. It was her first halloween but I didnt take her trick or treating. She went to disneyland instead and she was dressed up as a little pea pod. It was adorable. I went and bought a bag of snickers though the following day. I love discounted halloween candy.

I agree with my lover.Parenting isnt brian surgery, its been going on for a 1000 years so it cant be that complicated.I hate those chicks driving those minivans slow as shit on the road cause they think they have the holy grail in the back seat.
