I heard on the radio this morning the updates on the traffic jam on I-45 from Houston to Dallas. This is no bullshit. The cars are just parked on the interestate. They have both northbound and southbound lanes being used for northbound only. It is normally a 5 hour drive and is taking over 20 hours to make it as of yesterday. Today they are just parked.

The gas stations are all out of gas and can't get any gas now. The people are running out of gas waiting in traffic. They said that this morning (you aren't going to believe this) the people are sitting in their cars with the engines turned off. When traffic moves a little, they get out and push their fucking cars the 10 or 15 feet that traffic moved.

People are pushing their cars from Houston to Dallas. How fucking insane is that? The panic mentality that overcomes people when they are in large groups just blows me away.

In Fort Worth, there is no bottled water left in the stores. Walmarts and Costcos are sold out of flashlights and shit. And they say Fort Worth is supposed to get like 2 or 3 inches of rain. It fucking blows me away.

I told the wife it was up to her if she wanted to stay or go....she stayed

Outskirts of this storm.. um yes by some means.. if it hits where it is projected to then we are about 90 miles away from it and located on the east side. The east side of this storm is massive.

I saw the news about texas... sposedly they are sending tanker trucks there to fill up those that ran out of gas.... they asked that you pick your hood up to let the tankers know you are out of gas....

curious.. do any of you guys see multiple cars parked on side of the road for no reason?

forget no and secure your house and all the wandering tools that could damage.

ya have enough food ? do you have some way to contact people (radio?) and stuff like that.

oh yeah i have plenty of food... not sure what the wife and baby will eat though...

we are very prepared... all will be well... i have started taking pics since yesterday... it will be posted when I go back to work

Yeah saw the levees had broken...also the bus of old people blew up on the highway...killing 24 or so of them trying to evacuate....sin...glad your stocked up...keep us posted and 2nd ntype's request for Pics
