i saw a full grown Lab run over on the side of the turnpike today. i'm cool with dead cats on the road, but dogs make me a little sad inside.

there's been a deer on the side of the road for about a week now not far from my homestead....and it's been 90 degrees for the past week....somebody from the state was out there cleaning it up this morning...the stench from passing by was enough to make you want to hurl...imagine cleaning it up with a shovel.

the state used to pick up dead animals along side the road, but they cut the budget and now they just lay.
