What is your fear?
#1

Well I have Verminophobia - this is the fear of germs. I wash my hands all the time and carry Antibacterial Soap with me in my purse. That's just OC I guess.

I found this list online of Phobias - some of them crack me up. Geniophobia- Fear of chins. :lool: http://www.phobialist.com/

Anyways, if you don't have certain phobias, what is your biggest fear?

I demand the world but offer nothing in return.

I've mentioned this a million times. I'm scared to death of car wrecks. Oh, and I can't even kill a spider or roach I hate them so bad.

You know they'll crawl in your ear while you're sleeping? I got so freaked out cause I saw one years ago next to my head. I plugged my ears while I slept for weeks.

i'm afraid fem will break the truce Smile

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

I saw where that happened on the Discovery Health Channel. Trauma: Life in the ER. This woman had one lodged in her ear and the pain was driving her nuts. They tried to kill it with various chemicals and when they did. they couldn't get it out. they had to remove it with these fucked up looking tweezers piece by piece. :o

That's creepy. I also heard this story of this girl who went to get a weave in her hair and spider eggs got under her scalp, she had terrible headaches, when she went to the doctor the spiders were hatched and all underneath her scalp. Ugh!

if you have stopped driving while drunk, this fear may ameliorate (sup BL)

stay out of the tropics is my advice
there are unimaginable parasites there
many hatch under the skin and start moving around as they mature
some are very difficult to get eliminate
in the meantime, they drive people nuts

you can go to Barbados.. there's not many bugs or parasites there (compared to other tropical places). Turns out not even the bugs wanted to live there.

Great.
I'm now terrified of bugs hatching under my skin and creeping about.
thanks
