I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

Careful with this one VitE. The opossum has many behavioral adaptations it uses to survive. When threatened, opossums will sometimes "play 'possum." and roll over, become stiff, drool, and their breathing will become slow and shallow. This coma-like state can last up to four hours. Some sexual predators will think the opossum is dead and go away. Others, such as yourself, might like the non combative state. But also be ware that oppossums can also exhibit behaviors like running, growling, belching, urinating and even defecating when they are threatened.

On the brighter side, the oppossum has a prehensile tail. A prehensile tail is adapted for grasping and wrapping around things like tree limbs. The opossum can hang from its tail for a short time. Some people think opossums hang from their tails and sleep. They don't. Their tails aren't strong enough to hold them for that long. This, might in fact, come in very handy for long extended sexual encounters.

Another thing that you might find handy is that the opposum has opposable hallux. A hallux is like a thumb. The opossum's "thumbs" are on its rear feet. The hallux helps it grasp branches when it climbs. This could be an awesome advantage over the cat which does not have opposable hallux.

the fukken possum was flat as a pancake
thus not "playing" possum, but rather dead, like e likes his sexual partners

i had a possum in my garage when i was a kid
and he did indeed "play possum"
we were all sure it was dead

as soon as we moved away, fucker ran away
