I think anyone that has ever read anything sports related that I post knows that I am a UL Lafayette shill. Jake, being from nearby Breaux Bridge and a ULL college grad (same as Brandon Stokley and Kevin Faulk) is my favorite QB in the league.

Him having playoff success (5-1 record), being a playoff road warrior (4-0) and a precision playoff passer (108 QB rating) helps me brag on the dude. I hope it parlays some nice recruits coming it.

I noticed both KU and ULL had the same win total this year. ULL is moving in the right direction. Please keep calling me a front running band wagon jumping sports enthuisist (sp?) and I will keep refuiting (sp?) it.

I think many people would argue that Doug Flutie has more impressive career accomplishments.

His drop-kick XP this year was $$$, and don't forget he made arguably the most famous play in college football history...

my ass, you're all up on Duke's nuts. And how may upper classman are playing for ULL? What league do they play in? What's their RPI? Name one big name school they've played this year?

funny that yesterday you "claimed" your loyalty to the 49ers. pick a team wagon jumper.

Team = 9ers

Player = Jake

With the way the NFL works today you can hardly pick and stay with a player. You have your team and that will always be the same. Take any player in the NFL. How often do they start and stay with a team their entire career. Not anywhere near what they used to.

I am on Dukes nuts because I have been pulling for them for as long as I can remember. I have stated my teams many many times and they were all winning at the time I started watching sports. My favorite NFL team is the San Francisco 49ers. It has and always will be. I will however always pull for Jake, Brandon and Kevin. I am a shill for my local players. In basketball I have always pulled for the Celtics. I will also pull for Orien Greene whom the Celts drafted this year. In hockey I will always be a Pens fan. I will even support them when they move. Its all I know. In baseball I will always pull for the Astros and Mets. I pull for the Astros because as I kid I was able to attend their games. I pull for the mets because I started watching baseball in 1986. I also pull for Scott Dohman (Colorado) and BJ Ryan (Toronto) because they went to ULL.

ULL is in a state of rebuilding this year in mens basketball. They made the tourney two years straight and graduated most of their team last year. If you look back on the vbookie threads you'll see that I posted almost every game they played. Their biggest games this year was against Southern Illinois, UNC Charolette, Oral Roberts, and LSU. They played all but Oral Roberts on the road. They only have 3 seniors on their roster. Chris Cameron was granted a fifth year because he graduated in the fall of 05. Dwayne Mitchell was granted a 5th year because of an injury redshirt.

Flutie was a great college quarterback...he was also a great CFL quarterback.. but he couldn't carry jake's jock.

Currently there are only 3 QBs that have won 4 road playoff games.

Can anyone name them?

Starting or bench warming?

EDIT: Superbowls do not count as road games because they are at a neutral site.
