I think we've all been exposed to Obama enough to gather he's qualified mentally.Top of the ticket is about change since the president is the one who actually sets policy.The VP spot is an insurance policy where being qualified is the most important aspect.We can't tell if Palin is qualified like Obama is qualified in just 45 day to the election.I think you know this and it's probably increasingly tough to form arguments to defend her.I don't envy you.

So, to be president you can be anything you want as long as you are mentally strong. But to be a VP, in case you might need to be president, you need to be an old school washington insider.
