Well, excuse me for correcting you, you child molesting crack head, but the point of the joke was that on his deathbed he would receive eternal CONSCIOUSNESS. Meaning he would be awake for all eternity. Which he, because he is very dumb (that I assume you can relate quite handily to), thought would be a good thing.

It had nothing to do with his conscience.
