I watched the Mcdonalds all american game last night and had to turn it off after 10 minutes.Jay Williams was doing the color and he just rambled on and on.He literally would start talking and two or three possessions would happen before he stopped telling whatever story he was going on about.Totally painful to listen to.He also would relate conversations he had with players by saying "So I was like blah blah blah and so he was like blah blah blah".I expect that poor grammar out of someone from NC State.

What college basketball fan misses their teams national championship game? Front run much? In 08 I crouched in a defensive stance for the entire final four wearing my lucky shirt, lucky socks, manning throw back jersey and Mario jersey. That is fan. 8's fandom is front.

Of course I'm rooting for butler, but dook wins and covers. Butler has to box out five guys when a dook shot goes up. That has been the difference maker, zoubek slap outs to the perimeter for second chance, unguarded threes. My basketball knowledge is unparalled.

What could have been better?

I had copious amounts of beer and fried chicken while cleaning up and getting home with $300 more than I left with. I saw the 10 minuets of the game and that was a beautiful thing. I admire Butler for hanging in there as long as they did and actually having a chance to win it at the end. Fucking Zoubeck... why miss that last free throw on purpose?

I watched them almost lose to cornell.That would have been an all timer.I don't like those brothers you guys picked up.Seem like shitheads.

K's never going to attract one or two and done players.He has the reputation of being a hardass as far as a coach and for a durant type player who's only doing one year they don't need that ball busting when they can be treated like kings at LSU, Kentucky etc.He's got to build a solid core from 1 to 5 of guys who play defense and are smart to win it all.He can do that and I argue its a more pure and old school way of doing it.

Words don't describe how much of a faggot you are for missing the game for three hundred dollars.

I agree on the Zubeck foul shot at the end.How badly could that have backfired on coach K if Gordon hits that three?Think anyone would be piling on K right now if that happened?Really, really dumb move.Just hit the foul shot and get everyone to guard the half court line.

I lost only $30 last night on the spread.It was surprisingly hard to find takers against Duke.I was nervous going into the game because if Duke isnt hitting the three they are in trouble just like last night.

You could tell certain players were freaked out last night.Scheyer in the first half looked unsettled and Nolan Smith was terrible at certain points.He was ball hogging it and wasting a lot of the shot clock.More then once he didnt start a drive until less then 10 to go.Smith should have been giving it up to Singler more.He looked like the poor mans dirk nowitski last night.Total mismatch all night for him.I was screaming at Nolan Smith to give him the ball and get out the way in the last ten minutes.Did I mention I think Nolan Smith is a ball hog?Anyway Scheyer and Singler were the anchors in the second half.Although Singler airballed his last shot which would have iced the game.

The white guys Howard and Heyword were scary all night.They know how to pass and Howard knows were to be on the court and is an awesome rebounder.Sucks for Heyword, missing two shots to win the national championship on your home court is not a memory that will go away soon.

I've decided that coach K is a better coach then John Wooden.Like all my decisions this is based on pure logic.Would Wooden have been able to win all those championships in a row if he was under the same limitations with players like Alcindor or Walton leaving early for the NBA?No fucking way.K has done more in a harder era.That argument can be made now and is valid.

Congrats to me on being a Duke fan.

K is not John Calipari or Pitino.He already turned it down a month ago.The Olympic team is more prestigious then any NBA job to him.He's got the best deal in the world.

Singlers gone.He can't top being final four MVP.He's not going to be a good pro.No better then Troy Murphy.

I think Scheyer if he can hit the NBA three has the best chance to have a solid NBA career.He's solid with the ball.Kirk Heinrich like.

Nolan Smith seems dumb so I bet he's leaving.He will get slaughtered in the NBA.TJ Fordesque.
