He gets a pass for winning it last year.Everyone would.He had a serious senior class last year.He gets one more class of freshman to seniors before they think of bailing.They just look especially bad this year because Larry Drew the 3rd or whatever sucks dick and he's a starter.

I would love to talk college basketball with you guys but this season is way too painful. Watching Wesley Johnson excell at Syracuse rips my heart out a little more each game. Iowa State has got to be the most under achieving team in the Big 12. I didn't expect them to be at the top but they just really play uninspired ball. The thing they are missing is a bruiser that will hustle and fight for rebounds. Also their PG Diante Garrett has zero court vision for a 3rd year starter. How ironic is it that I, as a Cyclone fan, am more excited for football season?

Don't look now but they could get upset in the sweet 16.Did they win a lot of tough games to get to 4 or did a lot of teams lose in front of them?I like them and root for them but I'm starting to hear how Zubecks got his shit together and is playing like a man because he got a few double doubles and I'm wondering what planet I'm living on.If they are not hot from the outside the game is over.No matter who they play.I've said all along it depends on what type of tournament draw they get but a deep run is unlikely.
