I just heard he said "I have a ring and you will never get one".To Chris Paul.Arguably the most talented point guard to enter the league in the last 20 years.

I will love it if he thinks he can go toe to toe with him.It will be great.He might be dumb enough to believe it.I now have the proof I've been looking for to really hate Rondo for a valid reason.It feels good.

Its going to be lonely in 5 years when Rondo isnt the fastest guy on the court anymore.

They have to keep pierce for his whole career.You can replace Allen almost.KG if his knees hold out might sign for less.

I think it's huge that Rondo has a coach that was a pretty solid player in his own right at the same position.

He'll obviously never be anywhere near CP3, but he's still got a lot more potential than he's realized at the moment. If he gets it all together he can be an 18-20ppg guy with 8/9 rebounds, 8/9 assists, and 2/3 steals per game.

Pierce definitely sees the big picture, he wants to be a Celtic for his whole career, and he knows he needs more championships to become an all-time Celtic great.

I don't see him averaging more than 16-17 a game unless he's on a terrible team.He's all quickness and without those three guys spreading the floor way out he's going to get squeezed in the middle more.Unless he develops a jump shot which I think think is doubtful you might be watching the prime of his career right now.He won't be having 9-10 assist nights to many other places.

I like pierce and think he is a celtic great but he's stuck where he is as far as being an all timer save 4 more rings which aint happening.Above dennis Johnson and robert parish below Kevin Mcchale and John Havlicek.

if Rondo can get that jumper going, and he's been better, that's obviously the key. he also needs to get to at least 75% from the line, which will obviously make him a better scorer.

it's kinda weird to look at all-time celtics stats pages and see Pierce's name creeping up toward the top of almost all of them.
