Why swim? why not kick back commence drinking and wait for someone you can flag down? or even use the radio/cell phone to call the other boat?

There wasn't a lot of people boating at the time. There was no one on the other boat. Basically, it was a poor set up all the way around.

I was already in the tube and had a life jacket on. I didn't think we had gotten as far away from the pontoon as we did.
