Youngs first full season for the 9ers was in 1992.. He played in the 92, 93, 94 and 97 NFC Championship games.. (1998 was his last year) won the 94 superbowl and was MVP.

Elway played in 6 AFC Championship and five superbowls.. he won two of them. Elway played full time from 1984 through 1998.

I think something can be said about playing 8 more years than young. Its hard to compare these guys on statistics because elway played longer.. but I belive Young was the better QB.

Didnt Young flame out in his first years at Tampa Bay while Elway was leading his team to 3 title games?Sorry dude its not even close.that dive for the first down Elway made in his first superbowl win is the biggest example of a QB carrying his team to a superbowl since Joe Namath.

Young has two subpar seasons in the AFL for LA.. he only played in Tampa for 19 games.. Both LA and Tampa were horrible at the time so I can't really fault Young for all of that.

Denver had one losing season while Elway was there. Not quite the same comparison.
