Fantasy Football Money League...
#1

I have 2 if anyone is interested.. one is a regular money league with a $60 fee. The other is a keeper league of sorts.. $10 to join.

Rules for the keeper league for those interested.

The Home Field Advantage League

There will be a fee of $10 this year and $20 each year following. A $20 deposit that will be applied to your entry fee for the following year is required only if you trade future rights or draft picks. There are no additional fees for trades or adding/droppings players or for the auction.
.
Teams: There will be 16 teams that will play head to head and play each other twice for a total of 17 weeks.
.
Team Setup: You must maintain a roster of 31 players at all times. Rosters will be composed of 30 players and 1 coach.

A helmet logo is required, you can either choose one from the site, or create your own, as long as it looks decent in design and size. An email address is required so that you can be contacted, and you can set the league to notify you by email of league transactions.

Injured Reserve: You can put up to 5 players on your injured reserve, only if they are on a NFL teams IR or PUP list. They don't count against your roster spots, salary or contract years. You will have to pick up a player via waivers or trades before the kickoff of the next NFL game to keep your team at 31 players though. Once placed on the IR, they will remain untill the end of the season.
.
Player Scoring: a list can be found on the website.
.
Contract Length: Each player's contract can be for no longer than 3 years. Each players contract is guaranteed and if you drop a player, that players contract will stay charged to your cap until it runs out.

The Coach: Each team must have 1 and only 1 coach on their team. Coaches count against your 31 player limit and will stay on your team until you release or trade them. They will be used mainly to keep track of dead years from dropped players.
.
Rosters: There is no minimum/maximum number of players required at any position, you cannot submit an incomplete lineup. If you make a trade that puts you under or over the 31 player mark, you must pick up or drop a player during that weeks waivers to get your roster back at 31 players. If you do not, I will add or drop a player using my best judgment (player will be added at $1 for 1 year) Individual defensive players will be used. You will have a 1,000 salary cap and 66 contract year cap. You cannot complete any transactions that will put you over either of these caps.
.
Starting Lineups: Each team will start on Offense - 1QB, 1RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1PK, 1 Coach and 3 Offensive Flex players (can be any combination of RB, WR, and TE). On Defense - 2DL, 2LB, 2DB and 2 Defensive Flex players (can be any combination of DL, LB and DB).

Trading Draft Picks/Players: Trading is encouraged. Trades involving future rights or draft picks are not official until a $20 deposit, (nonrefundable), is received by the commissioner by the team giving up the future picks, if both teams are trading future picks, both must provide a deposit. This deposit will be applied to the team’s league fees for the future year. Only one deposit is required per team per year. Rights to players may also be traded. If you have a player who's contract has run out, during that off season you may trade him. That player will become a free agent unless the franchise tag is used on him.
.
*Releasing Players: Players released come with a cost. When releasing a player, only half of thier salary will be recouped and half (rounded up) will continue to be charged to against your salary cap for that year only. That players contract years will not be refunded, the contract will be reduced by 1 for each year it is charged to you as dead years. Dead years can not be traded.
Note: If you release a player that is a FA in the NFL, you will not be charged for dead years or salary from his contract.

Contract Years: There is a cap of 66 contract years. Each year, any contracts charged to you as dead years will each be reduced by 1. So be careful of how you hand out those long term contracts!

The following year players still in contract will remain on your team, players with 0 years will become free agents and enter the free agent draft.
.
Waivers/Free Agents:: Players released are placed in the free agent pool on. In the first week they are available, anyone can place a blind bid on that player for any amount of salary or contract years. Players may only be waived/released and picked up between week 1 and week 14. After week 14, no player may be waived/released/picked up until next season.
Any player, who is not on a roster of any team is available for pickup. A blind bidding process will be used. No team will be informed of any other team’s free agent bids. The team with the highest bid (calculated salary cap $ x contract years) will be awarded the player. For each free agent picked up, the winning team must drop a player, make an injured reserve move, or have made a trade to make/have roster room for the free agent acquisition. All bids must be in increments of whole dollars.

*When placing a blind bid: You must keep your roster at 31 players. If by picking up a player your roster will exceed 31 players, you must pick a player to drop when placing the bid. If you do not, your bid will not be valid. You must state in the comment box how many years you are offering each player. If you do not, 1 year will be offered by default.

Tie breaker in the event of two teams bidding for same amount for the same player will be overall record, then less points scored.

Blind bids will be processed the day before each NFL game at 2:00 pm ET. Starting on Sept 7th.

Regular Season: 17 weeks, weeks 1-17 will serve as the regular season with no playoffs.
.
Prizes: 1st $50, 2nd $25, 3rd $10 for the first year. Next year will be 1st $150, 2nd $70, 3rd $25. Three places make the 3rd worth fighting for.
.

Auction Draft: 1) Each player will have a 24 hour timer. When the High bidder of a player changes, the timer will be reset

2) To start, I will bring out the top 24 offensive players and do so until the top 100 have been drafted. As one player leaves I will bring out another player. After 100 offensive, the defensive players will be brought in as an offensive players leaves. This will continue until 100 defensive players are brought out. Then I will open it up to allow each person to bring out two players each. Once one of your players have left the board you can bring out another one. You are only allowed to have 2 players on the board at any time. This will give us good practice for next years draft as all players will be brought out by team owners next year. Top 100 will be calculated using sources from the internet. Only 24 players will be on the board at one time until 200 players are gone. This is to help the auction progress faster since our other leagues have taken over a month to draft and are still weeks from over. Please keep in mind that this year is on a time crunch and next year will have more time. If by August 24, we are way off filling rosters we will up it to 3 players each. I do not think it will be necessary but you never know. I also reserve the right to move the numbers of players that can be out to 30 if things are moving slow.

3) Once a player is won, the winning team has 24 hours to assign contract years to that player. If that player doesn't have years assigned to him, he will recieve a 1 year contract.

4) We will use "Proxy" bidding.

5) Coaches will not be bid on, They'll be drafted in a random order. They won't count against your cap or salary. I'll put salary and cap years from dead year contracts onto the coaches.

Rookie Draft: Next year a 5 round rookie draft will be held. The team with the lowest winning percentage drafts first with the Super Bowl winner drafting last. The loser of the Super Bowl drafts next to last. For teams with the same winning percentage, total points for is the tie breaker. For groups of teams with the same winning percentage, the team with the highest pick in the previous round drops to the bottom of that group each round. . Rookie salaries are preset. The rookie draft will precede the auction draft and will take place in mid to late July. Rookies drafted or picked up as a freeagent may be dropped without penalty if done before the season starts.

Here is the price list for rookies drafted
Pick Rd1 Rd2 Rd3 Rd4 Rd5
1) 50 20 7 3 1
2) 48 18 7 3 1
3) 46 16 7 3 1

14) 34 9 4 2 1
15) 32 8 4 2 1
16) 30 8 4 2 1

Transactions: You can trade in the off season, you cannot release players until after the FA auction and rookie draft.
.
Entry Fee: Entry fee is due exactly one month after the date of the NFL draft next year. If your team is not paid for by this date, your team will be available one a first pay first serve basis.

Rule changes: As the league develops, changes are bound to happen. All franchises are encouraged to submit to the league commissioner changes they would like incorporated into the league. The requests will be reviewed by the commissioner, and if the program allows, will consider the idea. All ideas submitted may be subject to a league vote.
