Well I for one have only a few things to say.
I don't like haxxors that take postsites down, what's the challange?
Nomatter how we feel and see UJ it's still a pity that someone did it. I know the work behind to keep a site running and the efforts required to get back from this ...

So I don't like it. Next time they might hack us and we will be the ones screaming blody haxors.....
Hope they get him and do what has to be done.

My few cents.

I agree completely, Leeman. In fact, I had heard that IT had some downtime this weekend, and suggested that Hoover contact you, Leeman, to find out if there was any way to work together to nail the culprit.

I would hope that no one here would wish this on any others. The leadership at UJ joked about the idea of feeding the hacker your site's url, but really...none of us would wish that kind of punishment on anyone.

I don't know where the rumor about us flaming our own users came from. I suspect it was from Haze, or someone else. I was simply trying to ask our users not to provoke or post after the hacker, yet Haze seemed to think that the whole thing was a game, and continued after I had asked him twice to stop. Maybe we do take things a little too seriously, but after asking him twice with no success, I didn't really know of any other way to convey my seriousness about the matter to him other than to threaten banning.

The majority of the UJers were extremely cooporative, and in a moment when we literally had no moderators, no moderation was needed.
