Worst first-round games (not including 1-16 matchups)





1. Arizona vs. Utah State — Spencer Nelson leads the Aggies in scoring, rebounding and assists. Hall of Famer Lute Olson will find a way to limit his production as Utah State is doomed by Salim Stoudamire's outside shooting.



2. Wake Forest vs. Chattanooga — The Demon Deacons, upset at being passed over for a No. 1 seed, will take out their frustration on the Mocs. Chris Paul will have a field day slicing, dicing and dishing through Chattanooga's defense.



3. Boston College vs. Pennsylvania — When the Eagles win, they often do so ugly. When they lose ... ditto. Perhaps the closest game you will want to miss.



4. Kansas vs. Bucknell — The Patriot League is 0-13 in the NCAA tournament. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

5. Gonzaga vs. Winthrop — Since starting the season in the national spotlight, the 'Zags have waited a long time to reclaim the public eye. Here's thinking they'll jump to an early lead and put away the Eagles before the end of the first half.

Pretty much nailed BC. Last I knew the spread was 7 on that one...BC doesn't beat anyone by 7...
