Holy shit, that's fucked up...
Shoot Straight . . . Conserve Ammo . . . And Never Ever Cut A Deal With A Dragon
If I may speak freely: I do not care for it!
Here is my reasoning behind not liking said apartment. Of course the reasons are most logical and perfectly clear in their execution...
1- That appears to be a crew quarters of the future, I would approximate about 80 years from the time period I am currently from. That is judging from the design. I far prefer the look and design of my current Starship, the NCC-1701, even if many people mistake it's materials for painted plywood and wooden 2" by 4"s.
2- I would assume that outside of his communicator, which you now call a 'cell phone', none of the equipement actually works. They are all 'props'. Our items on the Enterprise, work.
3- In my personal time, my time to meditate and relax, the last thing I would want are quarters that remind me of where I work. I think you can understand that: you would not want to come home to a apartment that reminds you of your office cubical, now would you?
The conclusion I come to, flattered as I am that this person wishes to imitate the surrounders and life style of those of us in the Federation, he should "Get a Life".
