It doesn't matter how many decks they use. The results are the same. Basic rule is that you always assume the dealer has a "10" as his/her down card. A dealer having a "6" showing is your best chance at winning.

Sit as far to the left side of the table as you can so that you can watch cards coming before you. If you need a little card, and the three or four people before you draw several little cards in a row, then you're chances aren't so good. You also have a chance to try to bust the dealer if you are the last player prior to the dealer. If the dealer is showing a small card, and you think a big card can bust him/her, then you watch the cards coming and if several small ones come, and you think the next one will be big, you can pass and let him/her have it. That position is called "third base" and if you don't know how to play third base, then make sure you play a table that has someone that does.

Thats not the point.If you have someone who knows what their doing it can help you make more money.I kid you not you wouldnt last 10 minutes doing that in a shitty casino in AC on a busy friday night.

I hear you bro.. I start out playing like that.. the more I drink.. the more I conform to the "rules". If I get to a hot table.. I'll sit next to third base and play off of him..

I only play blackjack if:

1. I'm waiting on my wife to get ready so we can go to dinner.

2. I'm too drunk to stand up anymore at a crap table.

3. There is a hot chic in a short skirt across the pit from an empty seat at a blackjack table.
