The Lada was "ex URSS car" was largely inspired by the Fiat 124. To sum up it's (was) some kind of 4 wheeled crap.
There was even a lot of funny jokes about lada owners like :
- Why lada drivers never says hello to each other when they meet ?
- Because they already met the morning by the auto repairer
- What is a Lada at the top of a mountain ?
- Something astonishing
- What is two Lada at the top of a mountain ?
- An exploit !
- What is three Lada at the top of a mountain ?
- Ok who had the idea of building a Lada factory up there ?
...
Truly my father had a lada 4X4 (Lada Niva model) was kinda funny, there wasn't an autoradio as the engine was so loud that even with an autoradio you wouldn't have heard anything....

no told you my father got one (was maybe 20 years ago...) it's a car you never really...forget. But did some googling too for the picture.
