BORING

How was everyone's weekend? Jimmy and I went to a mountain bike thingy called 24 hours of adrenaline. It's solo riders, or four or five man teams who ride an insane mountain trail at an elevation of 4600 feet, for 24 STRAIGHT HOURS. And it was so frickin hot on the weekend, I almost died without having done much mountain biking. When you are around people like that, you feel one of three things:
1. completely inspired
2. woefully inadequate
3. sane

were you a participant banana?

Sigh - Undeadcannibal - 07-19-2004

I am aroused.

No, I wasn't. I may be nuts, but I am not completely insane. I mean, I have respect for them, but they must be made of different material than me. I did volunteer from 11:30pm to 4:00am and that was tiring enough.

was it the part about my heat that got you aroused, or the part about insane people?

I like when people slice chunks out of my ear and shove cabbage into my nose screaming: THIS IS WHY THE DOOR CLOSES!!!"

A human emotion, but sad nonetheless.

BORING

How was everyone's weekend?
I went camping and whitewater rafting on the Menominee River in WI/MI. There was only 1 set of rapids--that sucked--but we had a blast hijacking other peoples rafts and sneaking up on them and pulling them in the water by their lifejackets. I also took a water cannon and blasted a guide in the face from about 8 feet away, he was pissed.

Also went on our annual drunk walk where we down as much beer and shots as possible for about 2 hours then stumble through the woods to light off fireworks. If I can upload footage of my buddy Stephens lighting off a huge bottle rocket and then falling and having it go off near his face I'll try to post it here. Other highlights from the annual drunk walk: one guy lost his shoe in 3 feet of mud and had to walk a mile back to camp, and a 9 inch diameter dead tree fell about 15 feet and landed on my head (which really hurt--I was crying about it all weekend).

I suspect you likely have a head injury TF.

Sigh - APB - 07-19-2004

Just a big bump and a couple of scratches, nothing to worry about.

Damn it...cool AV

Sigh - TomFoolery - 07-19-2004

It will be changed shortly, but thanks.

Sigh - Beaucephus - 07-19-2004

I didn't do a damn thing. I am probably not going to be doing a damn thing for quite some time. I went to court last week and they assigned an amicus attorney for my boys to investigate me, him and all witnesses involved in the case. So I have to be good Beau for quite awhile. Oh well it all be worth it in the long run though. I can't wait to get my boys. It been so long since I seen them. Big Grin
I did BBQ a brisket Sunday though if that count for anything.

Sigh - ClayRock - 07-19-2004

Cool Beau...MMM brisket.

I went drunkin canoeing down the Illinois River all weekend. I've never sweated so much beer in my life. I also taught my girlfriend how to roll a joint, since i was doing all the rowing. I'm very proud of her, she can roll a mean dooby.

Sigh - MarkyGman - 07-19-2004

Went to the in-laws work family picnic thingy. A bunch of stupid kiddy carnival crap at a really pathetic water park.
Wish my girlfriend would just say "No i don't think we want to drive 5 hours to a kiddie carnival".

oh well....free hotdogs and hamburgers....guess that made it a tincy bit better

I went to a small town festival called the Crawdadathon in central Wisconsin. You get to the bar that sponsors it on Friday, spend $20 for the t-shirt with a new yearly design, then, while wearing the t-shirt, you get all the Point beer you can drink all weekend.

They have a nine-hole golf outing on Saturday morning (shot a 49 while hungover and going on three hours of sleep). We played way too much bar dice which led to way too many Jagerbombs and I drank way too much Point beer.

Other than the lack of sleep and the fact I couldn't hold down solid food until around 3:00 yesterday afternoon, it was a great weekend...

Big Grin

Sigh - TyrionXavier - 07-19-2004

I had a date on Saturday, then sat at home all day sunday listening to the rain while playing Rollercoaster Tycoon.

Sigh - MarkyGman - 07-19-2004
