Interesting article.The whole Madoff thing is hard for me to get outraged about.I know people lost everything but how did they think they could get a 25% return every year while the rest of us suckers were lucky to get 5% without thinking something was fishy?

A friend of a friend type thing had recently sold his company. Someone approached him to let him know there was a certain bank that was paying 15% interest on large investments. When asked "How can a bank afford to pay that much interest" he answered "I dunno, but I sure am gonna take it"


He has now gone back to work due to the fact that he lost his nest egg.
