Slur-dogged millionaire Prince Harry -- of the swastika armband and other drunken mishaps -- has landed himself in hot water again, this time for a 2006 videotape that features him calling certain of his fellow military cadets "Paki" and "raghead."

While Prime Minister Gordon Brown is emphasizing that the comments were "unacceptable," and that the 24-year-old Prince will likely face military discipline, he also has stated that "the sincerity of [the Prince’s] apology cannot be doubted," and that the British people should give the third in line to the throne the benefit of the doubt.

What is your position? Were Harry’s comments an outrageously insensitive gaffe, given the nature of the war in the Middle East and his position as a living symbol of British power? Or was this just normal barracks banter; impolite, perhaps, but par for the course given that the participants were military cadets in their early twenties?
