Gretzky was all pissed off that one of the guys didn't drop he gloves. I would be fine with anyone else criticizing someone's fighting tactics. But Gretzky made a career of turning yellow when given the opportunity to throw punches.

Did you see Ed Jovanovski cross checks Matt Walker, hitting Walker in the jaw with his stick?
Then when Walker wants to fight, Jovanovski refuses to drop his gloves. Kudos to Walker for jacking him regardless. EJ is obviously Gretzky trained. Start a fight then try to back away.... what a pussy.

A little but I think he was in shock that it happened more than anything.If Avery did it he would be suspended for 3 years.

I agree that he should get some sort of punishment. I doubt he will. There's a lot of inconsistency in the NHL. It was entirely unsportsmanlike and it should not be tolerated.

Its ok the ref's didnt see it, they can't see everything.The league office should have something to say about it.
