SRV is not a father but more a disciple and he is more of a blues rock guitarist.

John Lee Hooker was probably the best american blues singer ever. Muddy Waters had a distinctive southern blues.

Alot of people consider WC Handy to be one of the best. Its all a matter of opinions.

Charlie Patton, better known as Charley Patton (May 1, 1891 - April 28, 1934) is best known as an American Delta blues musician. He is considered by many to be the "Father of Delta Blues" and therefore one of the oldest known figures of American popular music. Huddie William Ledbetter, (January, 1888 – December 6, 1949) was an American folk and blues musician, notable for his clear and forceful singing, his virtuosity on the twelve string guitar, and the rich songbook of folk standards he introduced.

He is best known as Leadbelly or Lead Belly. Though many releases list him as "Leadbelly," he himself spelled it "Lead Belly." This is also the usage on his tombstone, [1][2] as well as the Lead Belly Foundation.

Although he most commonly played the twelve string, he could also play the piano, mandolin, harmonica, violin, concertina, and accordion. You said John Lee Hooker is the greatest blues singer ever. Or Muddy had a distinctive sound. Those guys copied what the originals did. They don't deserve credit nor do you have any place calling anyone "unrefined" when you're like every other "unrefined" blues lover. All those guys did was re-create what's already been done 100% worse.

Sorry dude, but you need to study up. Those guys had nothing on Son House and Robert Johnson. I'd even lump Woody Guthrie in there too. Robert Johnson wrote guitar licks in the 20s that are still used today. Every blues lick you've ever heard SRV or BB King play is just something already played by Robert Johnson.

copying what the originals in music is nothing uncommon. Take all along the watchtower for example. Some people have no idea that Bob Dylan wrote it and sang it. It has been reported that he has sang this song more than any other live. That didn't stop U2, Jimi Hendrix, Dave Matthews Band, Prince, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Bear McCreary, Bryan Ferry, or Pearl Jam from covering it. Inevitably some will think that one of theirs is better.

Muddy Waters is great. You may not like him and thats fine. Rolling Stone ranked Muddy Waters the 17th greatest artist of all time. I know that doesn't mean anything to you because you feel he is a ripoff.... but thats the music industry.

Oh yeah, that list means nothing. Ranking the Beatles above Dylan is a sin. Them guys shunned pot until Dylan came along. Upon their first meeting The Beatles were intimidated of him for how different he was. There would be no Sgt. Peppers without Dylan "turning them on".
