7/10, I think that's what I would have guessed, though.

guess the top 10 - BIRD33 - 11-21-2007

Theres got to be some defensive players that I'm missing.

guess the top 10 - WoolyGoat - 11-21-2007

I'd say about 9.5 are offensive players. None are defensive.

That should probably tell you who the 10th place guy is.

guess the top 10 - what? - 11-21-2007

tiki barber

edit: michael vick

guess the top 10 - what? - 11-21-2007

also, vick turned himself in to start serving time this week. who the fuck is advising him? is it not transparent he's doing this in hopes of getting "time served" when they sentence him in a few weeks? I hope he gets raped in the shower

guess the top 10 - BIRD33 - 11-21-2007

If you think about it the sooner he goes in the better. He's looking at it as whatever sentence he gets he'll get out 3 weeks early with time served. For a guy like that its worth the risk because if the Judge does go easy on him because he went early thats more chances for him to recoup the millions he's losing.

If it was me I'd probably go early because you know that all your going to be thinking about for those last couple weeks is going to prison.I'd just want to get it over with.

guess the top 10 - WoolyGoat - 11-21-2007

I think he already knows the prosecution is going to request 1 year. He'd feel like an ass if he got off with parole, but there really isn't any chance of that happening.

guess the top 10 - quint - 11-21-2007

I agree but I can't figure out the timing. why not go right in earlier? and the quote from his lawyer sucks. there hasn't been anything genuine about his "penance", it's all been self-serving bullshit and that's been poorly executed

guess the top 10 - Anhil8tor - 11-21-2007

In confirming the news that Falcons quarterback Mike Vick reported early for jail on Monday, lawyer Billy Martin had this to say: "From the beginning, Mr. Vick has accepted responsibility for his actions, and his self-surrender further demonstrates that acceptance."

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Vick accepted responsibility only once it was clear to him that there would be no way to avoid proof of his responsibility beyond a reasonable doubt.

Initially, he claimed to have no knowledge of the events transpiring at his Surry County, Virginia property, and he blamed the whole thing on his family members and friends. He lied to Commissioner Roger Goodell and Falcons owner Arthur Blank about his lack of knowledge regarding the dog-fighting operation.

After Vick was indicted, he entered a plea of not guilty -- and his lawyer vowed to prove Vick's innocence.

And Vick seemed ready to take the case to trial until his three co-defendants started flipping like flapjacks.

Besides, reporting for jail early isn't proof of anything other than his ability to accept the inevitable. He's going to jail in three weeks; he might as well get it started now.
